Awaken FAQ’s

1. I am from out of town. Is there housing available for me?

AWAKEN is a commuter only intensive. Each student will come and go home each day. There will not be housing available.

2. I have 3 or more children to sign up for AWAKEN . Are there any discounts available?

We would not want financial hardship to be what stops a teen from coming to AWAKEN. Therefore, if the cost is an issue, we can offer discounts to families in need of financial assistance if you notify us at our office at (818) 998-2931

3. How many tracks will be at Awaken?

There are two tracks:
The general track is from 11:30am – 3:00pm. This will include intentional teachings, creative practices in art, technology and fun in community. Lunch is not included in this track.

The prayer room track is from 9:00am – 3:00pm. This will include the general track and the prayer room 101. Lunch will be included for this track.

4. What time do I have to be there?

It depends on the track you signed up for. The general track is from 11:30am – 3:00pm and the prayer room track is from 9am – 3pm.

5. Where will it be?
At Houses of Light Church in Northridge, CA

6. How old do I have to be to attend Awaken?
AWAKEN is geared towards teens between the ages of 13-18 years old.

7. What should I bring each day?

Bring a positive attitude, an open heart and hunger and willingness to know God! Our desire is for our teens to show up authentically and expectant of all that a loving Father has for them. Please feel free to bring a journal, pen, comfortable shoes, and your AWAKEN group team shirt that will be given to you on the first day.
