Mission: Igniting passion and awakening disciples in this generation 

Description: Powered by Holy58, AWAKEN is a 4-day intensive with the purpose of creating a space for teens to connect with Jesus, awaken hearts to His presence, and introduce disciples to the culture of the Kingdom. This will be done through intentional teaching, practical application through three separate tracks (Music, Media, and Catalyst), and time in the prayer room. We will also have time for fellowship and eating together.

Tracks

• Music Track:  
  • The music track is designed to ignite young worshipers into their calling. This track is more than learning how to lead, but actually knowing Jesus through worship and devotion. This track will allow teens to set their hearts on fire for God and lead other teens into worship by writing, playing and leading worship. It is more than just a calling but simple obedience to the Lord to spread the gospel through worship.  

• Media Track:
  • The media track is prepared to train and equip a generation to be able to capture moments of the pouring out of Holy Spirit in times of worship and prayer. The media track is a part of the prophetic gifting on behalf of the Lord to us. Capturing moments through a lens and an outpouring for others to see is part of evangelizing the wonders of the Lord with in the church.
  • God has been preparing people’s hearts to see his hand move, and through media we get the opportunity to be able to do so. Hands-on training with industry tools such as Filming Cameras and equipment used throughout the services here at Houses of Light.  The tools you will use are not just used to capture the moments but are our instruments to use in worship to the Lord.

• Catalyst Track:
  • The Catalyst Track is designed to raise up young leaders who will take the gospel anywhere! Knowing the living God through deep friendship and trust in His Word, catalysts will be equipped to go and champion the simple tenets of Jesus’ ministry and cultivate a bold faith in His Word. From speaking on high school campuses, to preaching in their own friendship and youth groups, Catalysts will cultivate their speaking and mobilizing gift to impact this generation. They are mobile evangelists who communicate God’s vision, and unify others unto action.
