Friday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Weekends as assigned (per necessity of events/projects)
Key Responsibilities & duties
Manage event operations, systems, scheduling, and volunteers for special events and conferences at Houses of Light Church
Sit in the core team meetings, taking notes on action points as well as areas that need follow-up
Check in with ministry leaders to assure they have everything they need to finish their projects in a timely manner
Send out reminders, plan, and coordinate core team and staff meetings for ministry leaders and full-time church staff
Bring feedback and insight to help streamline events and ongoing projects, so they are more effective and remain aligned to our mission/vision as a church
Work with senior and executive pastors to care for ministry leaders and ensure the effectiveness of their tasks.
Qualification
2 years assisting to Houses of Light
Maintain flexibility and create efficient new processes and strategies
Passionate about taking a huge vision and turning it into reality through strategic execution
Highly relational-you recognize the value of working with and through others
Have experience with event planning, budgeting, project management, and related organizational skills
Able to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and solve problems
You’re excited to work in a fun, fast-paced atmosphere where everyone takes the mission very seriously, but no one takes themselves too seriously
You’ve learned that simple is always better, but it isn’t always easy
You believe a smile is always the first line of defense
