Job Description

We desire to see the expansion of God’s kingdom by providing support to daily operations. Duties include answering phone calls/emails, ordering supplies, scheduling meetings/events, and filing. The ideal candidate is someone with strong communication skills who excels at administering multiple operations, processes and procedures in a smooth and efficient manner.

Job Type 

  • FULL TIME
  • Monday to friday: 8:30 am – 3 pm
  • Extra availability for weekend and conference required

Key Responsibilities & duties

  • Office management:
    • Organize office
    • Monitor level of supplies and equipment needed for office and other departments
    •  Ordering office supplies, rentals depending on each department needs
  • Administration:
    • Implement and maintain procedures/administrative systems
    • Create and update records, ensuring accuracy and validity of information
    • Communicate thoroughly with staff/outside churches (facilitate information with guest
      speakers-hotel booking, transportation etc.)
    • Perform some receptionist duties: answering phones, emails, taking messages,
      etc.
    • Other operational duties as assigned by the senior pastors
  • Logistical Support:
    • Coordinate room reservations, room set up/greenroom
    • Schedule meetings and take notes
    • Assist in event planning for holidays and major church events
    • Create and confirm schedules for weekend services, leadership meetings, and
      church events as assigned.

Qualification

  • 2 years assisting to Houses of Light
  • Deep faith in Jesus Christ and daily living out their faith in life and work
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience as an Administrative Assistant or in another administrative role is preferred
  • Proven, collaborative team-player with the ability to also be extremely effective
    independently.
  • Friendly, service-oriented personality
  • Ability to work with confidential/sensitive information
  • Problem-Solving and basic troubleshooting skills
  • Strong command of written and spoken Spanish and English
  • Excellent relational skills in person, writing and over the phone
  • Able to attend to details
  • Proficient in Mac OS and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
    Familiarity with Dropbox and Google Workspace is helpful.
